A new Featurette for Les Miserables, posters for The Great Gatsby and Oz The Great and Powerful, pics from The Incredible Burt Wonderstone, and trailers for The Identity Thief and John Dies at the End.
Les Miserables has a new featurette that focuses on Wolverine. And I’ll be honest, this is a very good featurette. I can’t help but be insanely excited for this film. The style of the film and the way they did everything is blowing me away, and I think Jackman is going to steal the show. I genuinely think he’s going to be getting nominated for an Oscar this year. He’s looking good.
The Great Gatsby
The Great Gatsby has two new character posters to compliment yesterday’s look at Isla Fisher as Myrtle Wilson. Today has Tobey Maguire as Nick Carraway, the narrator of the book, and Elizabeth Debicki as Jordan Baker, a love interest for Carraway. I like Maguire as Carraway, and while I think Debicki might be okay, I haven’t loved her in the trailers. We’ll see how it all plays out.
Oz The Great and Powerful
Oz The Great and Powerful has a new poster, and it gives a nice view of the Wicked Witch. I think the main thing I’ve enjoyed thus far from the trailers is how scary they make her. Yeah, it’s kid-stuff type of scary, but that kind of scary is still sorta scary, and I’m sold on it. Also, I think Mila Kunis is going to turn out to be the Wicked Witch. Just sayin’.
The Incredible Burt Wonderstone
Whatever hope I had for The Incredible Burt Wonderstone has pretty much flown right out of my ass now that I see this picture of Steve Carell as the titular Wonderstone. I’ll admit Steve Buscemi looks funny as hell, but Carell just bores the living shit out of me in these pics. BORING.
The Identity Thief
The Identity Thief has a new trailer and I’m going to ask and answer a few questions because of it. Did I laugh? Did I wonder who the hot latina girl is? Do I think Sookie from Gilmore Girls is awesome?
I only need one word for all those questions. That answer is “Yes.”
John Dies at the End
John Dies at the End has a new trailer and I quite like it. I don’t know if many of you remember the show Reaper, but that show was the SHIT, and this reminds me of it. Slapstick, scary but with some degree of heart, you know?
