Movie News for The Dark Knight Rises, Spider-Man & More!

A new trailer for The Dark Knight Rises!, pics from The Amazing Spider-Man and Lovelace, and TV Spots and featurettes for The Avengers and Dark Shadows.

The Dark Knight Rises

HOLY CRAP HOLY CRAP HOLY CRAP. Here’s the new trailer for The Dark Knight Rises!!!!!!

I’m so friggin’ happy. And it’s awesome. Very somber for the most part, but the film is supposed to have a tone of being an end for this particular trilogy of Batman films. I love how they treat Catwoman in the trailer. Up until now she’s been more straight bad guy, but now she looks like more of a conflicted character who is just afraid of Bane. This is sooooo cool.

The Amazing Spider-Man

The Amazing Spider-Man has a couple new photos and a poster up today, and while I can’t say they’re the most exciting photos I’ve ever seen, I do like the overall tone they’re creating for the film. It’s not as lighthearted as the Sam Raimi trilogy, and while I mostly liked those, I’m happy to see something new.

Here’s a new pic of star Amanda Seyfried as Linda Lovelace in Lovelace. I don’t know if this is really what Linda Lovelace looked like, but I do think Seyfried looks hot. So… success!

The Avengers

The Avengers has a new TV spot, which is okay but sorta by the numbers at this point, and a new featurette, which is also, for the most part, kinda by the numbers, though it does give a nice shot of a new scene with Loki talking to a crowd of people. Kinda cool.

Dark Shadows

Dark Shadows has a new featurette that gives a bit more information on some of the peripheral characters of the story. Honestly, I don’t think any of these people matter. The only thing anyone is going to see this for is Johnny Depp. Get on with the show.
