Movie news for The Avengers, Ted, Rock of Ages & More!

Film clips from The Avengers and Cabin in the Woods, a green band trailer for Ted, a TV Spot for Rock of Ages, and casting for A Good Day to Die Hard and Skyfall.

The Avengers

The Avengers has its first film clip, and it… jiggles. A LOT. I’m pretty sure every time Joss Whedon had notes for Scarlett in this scene he said, “Hey, can you make your tits jiggle a bit more when you kick that dude? Thanks. Jiggle jiggle jiggle.” They he went back to crossing his legs and filming it.

Cabin in the Woods

I don’t like the way this Cabin in the Woods film clip makes hillbilly gas station attendants look like jerks. WE’RE NOT.

I mean they’re not. I mean SHUT UP YOUR FACE.

So it’s not really a scary scene, but it does play off some of the horror film tropes, so I shall allow it. I shall.

I’m genuinely surprised this trailer for Ted without swears is funny. Cause it is. Honestly. I know! I didn’t believe it at first either, but I looked back on the past two and a half minutes of my life and I was happy.

Laughing even. It was nice.

Rock of Ages

This TV Spot for Rock of Ages is rather bland, which fits, since the film looks rather bland as well.

A Good Day to Die Hard

A Good Day to Die Hard has added two villains for face off with John McClane in his fifth outing. Sebastian Koch and Yulia Snigir will be playing the villains. Sebastian was pretty good in The Lives of Others, and a quick Google search of Ms. Snigir shows her fantastic ass. She’s a Russian model. I approve.

James Bond can’t survive with just two Bond girls. He needed a third. Tonia Sotiropoulou (try sayin that name while sober, it can’t be done) has been cast as a Greek babe for the beginning of Skyfall. So he bangs her and leaves. HIGH FIVE!!!
