Posters for Man of Steel and RED 2, pics from The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Pacific Rim and X-Men: Days of Future Past, and TV spots from After Earth and The Hangover 3!

Man of Steel

Man of Steel has a couple more new posters and TV spots today. I’m not loving the first poster as much as the others. I suppose it gets the point across of this being a Superman movie, and that he has a cape and can fly, but otherwise it’s less cool in my opinion. He’s flying toward the light… does that means he’s dead?

The other one, of Superman flying upward from a side angle while looking like he’s a complete badass, is actually quite cool. Why can’t it be June 17th right now?

As for the TV spots, they’re fucking awesome. The first one has an amazing start, with absolutely beautiful looks at Superman from a bit of a distance. His presence is certainly going to be spectacular on film.

RED 2

RED 2 has a new poster that makes me think the film will be set on Mars. I know it’s red because of the film name, but it still makes me wish these old timer spies were fighting evil on Mars. I wish it were so. I do.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 has a new pic of Paul Giamatti as the Rhino, and I don’t know what to say about it. Is he going to wear the suit? Cause he sure doesn’t look like the Rhino right now. Maybe he gets in a car accident and they rebuild him bigger, stronger and faster.

I do like the barbed wire forehead tattoo though. Very menacing.

Pacific Rim

Pacific Rim has some new photos today, and while the big robot from New Zealand is kinda cool, and Stringer Bell is always a badass, I’m very drawn to Mako Mori, played by Rinko Kikuchi. She’s looking good. I’d let her hit me with her stick…

But only if she lets me hit her with mine. 🙂

X-Men: Days of Future Past

X-Men: Days of Future Past has a new photo of seventies era Beast and Wolverine. Well… Wolverine looks normal. He really is ageless. But Beast is more interesting. He was all blue at the end of First Class. Apparently he finds a cure for his condition.

After Earth

After Earth has a new TV spot, and this one isn’t half bad. This actually might be the most effective piece of marketing promotion from the film yet. It’s still gonna suck ass and be another underwhelming Will Smith movie, but this TV spot looks okay at least.

The Hangover 3

The Hangover 3 has a new TV spot that really showcases the bad parts of the film. Cause this seriously doesn’t look all that funny. Oh well. At least it has funny moments in the other trailers.
