A new trailer for Jack Reacher, a poster for Resident Evil: Retribution, a TV spot for Django Unchained and pics from Caught in Flight.

Jack Reacher

Jack Reacher is coming along quite nicely. Just a week or two ago we got our first official image of Tom Cruise wearing a leather jacket and looking remarkably like Maverick, except probably not as awesome/gay.

In Jack Reacher, Cruise is a veteran and detective on the hunt for a killer. Although from the trailer all I got was that he drives a car and speaks a foreign language.

Oh, I should mention you’ll need to click “CC” in order to get the English subtitles as this is a… Russian trailer? Not sure. I find it funny that Tom Cruise’s name in whatever language this is is Tom KPY3.

Why is there a 3? This is why Russia lost the Cold War. That, and they’re like Canada for Europe.

Losers.

Resident Evil: Retribution

Resident Evil: Retribution has a new banner poster that I think should definitely be your new desktop background, but only if you use Linux.

I don’t know if Linux actually uses backgrounds, or if it just looks like the Matrix. I know far too much about computers. OBVIOUSLY.

I have a question about this new poster for Resident Evil. Did her cool looking guns shoot the water and make it turn into ice? Did she shoot her way through those frozen ships, cause I think they’d have been easy to get past. I assume everyone is dead on the ships, so why the guns? Are leather body suits particularly good for keeping war in blizzards?

Turns out I have a lot of questions…

Django Unchained

I hardly realized Samuel L. Jackson is in Django Unchained, but here he is in this new 60 second TV spot for the film that further establishes how awesome this film will be.

Pretty awesome.

Caught in Flight

I haven’t written a preview of Caught in Flight just yet, but it’s a film about Princess Diana and her last years before her tragic car accident end. I have to give star Naomi Watts a lot of credit for looking exactly like Princess Di. Bang up job.
