New TV Spots for The Dark Knight Rises, The Amazing Spider-Man and Brave, a poster for The Expendables 2 and casting for Django Unchained and Mad Max: Fury Road.
The Dark Knight Rises
The Dark Knight Rises has a new TV Spot that’s pretty cool, and focuses on the great job Commissioner Gordon does after Batman retires. He cleaned up the city. But there might be something coming. Something called… BANE.
Or something like that. They also showcase a bit more of The Bat (the flying Batmobile)
The Amazing Spider-Man
HOLY CRAP these two new TV Spots for The Amazing Spider-Man are awesome. They’re doing a really good job with the special effects. That’s for darn sure. I’m… I’m… happy?
I truly am.
Brave is a pretty darn cute looking film, made all the moreso by this new TV Spot that focuses on the father/daughter relationship in the film. Just in time for Father’s Day. Aww…
The Expendables 2
The Expendables 2 is apparently The Hunger Games now. Seriously, they look alike. BORING. Gimme more muscles, dammit!
Though trailers are now out for Django Unchained and it’s clearly a good ways through filming, there’s still some casting going on. Once attached to the film before dropping out, Jonah Hill has now been cast in what I assume is a fairly small role. Most likely what happened is that the role was written specifically for him but he had a scheduling conflict and Tarantino worked around his schedule to get him in the film. I hope Jamie Foxx shoots him.
Mad Max: Fury Road
I’m fairly confused about Mad Max: Fury Road. I thought it had once started shooting then had to stop, but I guess it never really started… not sure. What I DO know is that exemplary thespian Rosie Huntington Whiteley has been cast in the film as one of the wives. The story seems to revolve around a cross country trip where five wives are being transported. Okay… cool.
