Just Go With It is the next high concept comedy from Adam Sandler. He plays a man in a relationship with a much younger woman, and in order to avoid a serious relationship with her he tells her he’s married, and must enlist the aid of his office manager to pretend to be his wife.
I don’t know about all of you, but I find nothing funnier than pretending to be an adulterous douche bag. How bad a person must you be to think that being a cheater is preferable to being you?
Anyways, Sandler plays a plastic surgeon named Patrick Maccabee who is in a relationship with a hot young babe, here played by Sports Illustrated cover model Brooklyn Decker. When he tells her he’s married and has children, he gets his office manager, played by Jennifer Aniston, to pretend to be his wife, and also pretends that her kids are really his. Wow. He also forces children to call him ‘dad.’
Can we get this guy a ‘Man of the Year’ award?
So, knowing the general flow of this type of film, the ‘good’ doc no doubt learns that his life would be happier if he was married to Aniston and be a father than to sleep with a supermodel. And so goes the fantasy of Hollywood. So he falls in love with her, ditches the wonderfully chested Decker, and in the end, the d-bag who pretended to be cheating on his wife ends up married to his pretend wife.
Most awkward sentence ever.
Just Go With It is just the latest in a slew of Adam Sandler films directed by Dennis Dugan, who has also directed the star in Happy Gilmore, Big Daddy, I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry, You Don’t Mess With the Zohan, and Grown Ups.
What a fantastic director. If you’ve seen any of those, you’ll know exactly what you’re in for. And it isn’t pretty.

What’s Good About It?
Brooklyn Decker is hot. And I’ll know where stupid people are opening weekend.
What’s Bad About It?
Look at the related films. All by the same director/actor. This film will make my eyes bleed.
Our Clever Prediction
God help me, but the film will likely rake in the cash. Sandler is, unfortunately, box office gold. His films are always just shy of retarded, but since you know what you’re going to get, people seem happy to go. What the hell?
