Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day debuts a couple film clips, Gone Girl shows the happy side of a bad marriage, The Interview makes some dirty jokes, Interstellar offers up a new poster on a new world, Jurassic World shows off a familiar sign, The Last Witch Hunter makes such funny unintentional jokes, and The Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb has a new twisted poster!
Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day
Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day has 2 new film clips today. The first shows the teenaged sibling and his fairly hot girlfriend discussing text etiquette and how to take a broad to the prom. I took a different approach, and had her drive. But it would’ve been weird if your MOM had let me drive, so it’s cool.
The second film clip has some crap happen, but it ends with the douchey teenager saying everything is awesome and ending with #blessed. OMG, RIGHT?
Gone Girl is an interest flick, and I can’t wait to see it. This new TV spot shows the first meeting between the husband and wife at the center of the film, and it’s kinda sweet. Until the wife goes missing and everyone figures it was the husband. Bummer.
The Interview has a new trailer that is super red band, and it gives a much better sense of the overall story, and has some halfway decent jokes. It isn’t super hilarious, but it isn’t bad either. Yeah, it’s stupid as all hell, but that’s what I’d expect from this two morons. Overall not bad.
Interstellar has a new poster that show McConaughey and crew on a new planet. One thing that’s very cool about this film, at least from the looks of it, is that it’s attempting to show of a variety of other possibly inhabitable worlds. One is icy, this one looks like it has, at the very least, water. Very cool.
You know, I actually have a lot of hope for the upcoming Jurassic World. It sounds like a horrible cash grab, but the people involved are talented, especially star Chris Pratt, and the images released thus far make me believe they’re really going for it with this and will make something truly solid. The pic today reminds us of the sign Newman hit in the original, then couldn’t figure out which way to go, thus leading to his poison-faced demise. Ouch.
The Last Witch Hunter
The Last Witch Hunter has 2 new pics today of Vin Diesel, and they are freaking hilarious. Diesel couldn’t act his way out of a box full of bunny rabbits. I don’t know if that’s a saying or not, but I’m going with it. The pic of him looking all contemplative has to be top 5 funniest things I’ve seen today.
It’s only from today because my life is a delight of humorous things that I look at.
The Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb
The Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb has a new poster that rips off Escher and tries to make us believe this film is about more than Ben Stiller looking concerned while bad impersonations of historical figures run around trying to make us laugh. I’m not laughing.
