Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax is an animated adaptation of the classic Dr. Seuss book about a lorax who tries to save the forest.

A greedy entrepreneur strips all the trees of the forest to manufacture clothing. All the animals leave the forest and everything is ruined. Sorta depressing.

The Scoop

There are actually three director/writers on The Lorax at present. Ken Daurio, Cinco Paul (five pauls WOOOO) and Chris Renaud are all currently working on the film. The three filmmakers most recently made Despicable Me together, so they have some experience making hit animated films as a team. No casting news have been announced yet, as it’s pretty early on in the development process, but I expect a couple A-listers to get on board.

Who’s It For?

Either G or PG.

Movie Release Date

March 2, 2012.

Who’s In It?

No casting news yet.

Interesting Fact

Theodor Seuss Geisel began using the pen name Dr. Seuss after he was caught drinking alcohol during prohibition and he wanted to keep writing for a college humor magazine, which he was banned from as a result of the drinking violation.

What’s Good About It?

Any animated film about Dr. Seuss is likely to be enjoyable. Combine the talents of the three directors and you should have a pretty massive hit on your hands.

What’s Bad About It?

Personally, I hate the environment, and will be rooting for the greedy entrepreneur. I love clothing. Which is why I always look FABULOUS!

Our Clever Prediction

I see a big box office for this one. If they get a couple good A-list celebs on board to lend their vocal talents then this should essentially print money. Oh, but it won’t be as good as whatever Pixar puts out that year.

the movie sounds cool but your page of it is terriable you even went off topic under whats bad about it. how does your clothing have anything to do with something bad about a movie? Please explain because this is kinda retarted! Either know what your doing and talking about, learn more about it, or DONT do it

Because you are obviously too ‘ retarted’ to understand what The Lorax was about.
