Chris Pine Joins ‘Horrible Bosses 2’

Chris Pine

The Horrible Bosses sequel has cast the horribliest boss of them all: Captain Kirk. (I’m sure no one has already made this joke.)

Chris Pine, known for having a handsome white face people could put on the posters of franchises like Star Trek and Jack Ryan, will be in Horrible Bosses 2 next year, according to Variety.

He will be playing the son in a father-son-duo, who’ll steal the main characters’ new invention. It was previously rumored that Christoph Waltz would be playing the father, but now it turns he, reportedly, isn’t up for the role. Jason Bateman, Charlie Day, Jamie Foxx, and Jason Sudeikis will be returning to their respective roles. Seth Gordon, director of the first film, however, won’t be returning to the chair. Sean Anders (That’s My Boy, Sex Drive) will be assuming the mantle instead.
