Bad Words and 300: Rise of an Empire debut solid new posters, Welcome to the Jungle has a red band trailer, and The Lego Movie has a new featurette to get us excited!
I am, simply put, extremely excited about Bad Words. The film looks really good, with a lot of funny stuff in the trailers, and more than enough opportunity due to the solid cast, led by director Jason Bateman. This new poster fits in very well with the film’s tone, and honestly, if the film is as good as it looks, this might be on my wall some day.
300: Rise of an Empire
300: Rise of an Empire has a sweet new poster, with some interesting art and solid design. I like it. Not bad. There’s also a new TV spot which isn’t half bad, but it’s also not the best thing I’ve ever seen. The best thing I’ve ever seen is Canadian porn. I’ve never seen a dude cry so much as in Canadian porn…
Welcome to the Jungle
Welcome to the Jungle has a new trailer that gives us some interesting insight on pooping in the woods. It’s not something I’ve ever done, except when drunk, and even then nothing bit my pussy. Yep. There’s some of that in this.
I also feel bad for the Asian guy who didn’t get to learn baseball. Poor guy. Baseball is so fun.
The Lego Movie
The Lego Movie has a new behind the scenes featurette that emulates many of the really horrible, lame but terribly common featurettes that you see these days for movies, with the characters pretending to be actors that are talking about their movie. I actually really like this, and it shows that yet again the filmmakers and marketing team are way more creative for The Lego Movie than for 99% of other films. So… cool.
