The Wolf of Wall Street makes a case for handling the dragon, Robocop gives us a few new images to enjoy, Mr. Peabody and Sherman inverts dog-person roles again, and 300: Rise of an Empire show an emperor roar!
The Wolf of Wall Street
The Wolf of Wall Street has a new film clip today featuring Matthew McConaughey and Leonardo DiCaprio. It’s actually pretty funny, and reminds me that in my own high stress job of internet movie blogger that it’s important to keep stress free. Good stuff.
Robocop has a fair number of new images today, and it looks pretty good. I especially like the one of him with his wife, as they appear to be trying to figure out the whole “Robot” boning thing. At least I assume this scene ends with sexy time. The image of Robocop with Rorshach also looks good, as a “give me guns and let’s make it neato” type thing.
Mr. Peabody and Sherman
Mr. Peabody and Sherman has a new Christmas poster that’s not half bad. I like the “Fetch the Presents” line. I’m assuming that’s the dog speaking, and telling the boy to fetch. WOW! It’s like one of those movies with gender reversal, except with a dog.
300: Rise of an Empire
300: Rise of an Empire has a new poster of Xerxes, with his line about Athens burning. It’s interesting that this film was originally supposed to be primarily about him, in fact once being titles Xerxes, but I believe that story evolved, as most people would want more of 300, but they’d want Sparta heroes, not Persian ones. There will be more about the Persian side this time around though, with Xerxes’ rise to power being hinted at in the trailers, and his great naval general Artemsia being the primary villain. Not bad. I think we’ll have a solid film when it releases this March.
