This Tyler Perry sequel to the 2007 film ‘Why Did I Get Married’ promises more laughs in the continuation of this movie franchise.

Four couples reunite for their annual vacation in order to socialize and to spend time analyzing their marriages. Their intimate week in the Bahamas is disrupted by the arrival of an ex-husband determined to win back his recently remarried wife.

The Scoop

Reuniting the same charismatic cast and characters from his hit comedy/drama, “Why Did I Get Married?”, Tyler Perry brings us the next chapter in the lives of eight college friends struggling with the challenges of marital life in “Why Did I Get Married Too”.

Gathered together in the Bahamas for their annual one-week reunion, four close couples eagerly reconnect, sharing news about their lives and relationships. But their intimate week in paradise is disrupted by the unexpected arrival of Sheila’s ex-husband, Mike, who hopes to break up her new marriage with Troy and win her back.

The others soon realize they too are not immune to the challenges of commitment and fidelity. Angela doesn’t believe her husband, Marcus, can be faithful now that he’s a celebrity television newscaster. Dianne and Terry’s relationship is feeling the strain of raising children.

And Patricia, a successful self-help psychologist, must finally reveal the deep flaws in her seemingly perfect marriage to Gavin. With their relationships hanging in the balance when they return home, each couple must choose between blame and forgiveness, doubt and faith, with life-altering consequences…

  1. Actually i think this was my least favorite of all his movies. Waaay more drama this time around. Janet was trying way to hard and their divorce didn’t make sense. I am mad at the ending too, but i won’t spoil it for those who plan to see it….not one of my favorites.

  3. You know… it never seems to amaze me how ignorant ass people always make comments about things they don’t get!!! Whoever wrote the bullshit above needs to have their head examined! Every last one of Tyler Perry’s movies has a message… maybe u don’t understand because u didn’t struggle with “OUR” issues growing up! I’ll bet you think a lot of the movies that earn Oscars truly deserve them, don’t u? I don’t watch the Oscars because they are racially biased and they will never give us our due for the hard work that we put forth to put our stories out there. Didn’t your parents ever teach u to keep your mouth shut when you don’t have anything good to say?? In your case, your comment was just plain stupid! Get a life and look beyond what you think of African-American movies and people. You’re obviously blind and have no real sense of good taste!

Can you sense the irony in your post?

      Oh No You Din’t!
