I recently thought to myself, “How can I make Starseeker more badass? How can I take this site to the NEXT level? Then I saw a trailer for Universal Soldier: Day of Reckoning. Sometimes the universe just gives you an answer right when you need it. So there’s a new Universal Soldier movie. It brings back Van Damme and Dolph Lundgren. So the badass quota has been raised.
The basic premise, for those who don’t know (SHAME ON YOU) is that the government tested on soldiers to make them more or less immortal and to not feel pain, therefore becoming the best possible soldiers. Except if Van Damme kicks them all spinning in the air style, in which case they turn mortal pretty quick.
In this new film, it seems (I think) that Van Damme is a bad guy. The government’s controls (oh yeah, in Universal Soldier the government also does mind control to F with the soldier’s memories and abilities to feel guilt n’ shit.) are removed, therefore allowing these thugs to be their own men.
So what does a group of super killers do with themselves when the government no longer tells them what to do? They start and underground military where they fight each other to see who’s tougher and start revolutions n’ shit!
YES YES YES YES YES.
This is basically from my dream journal.
Universal Soldier: Day of Reckoning
John Hyams is the main driving force behind Universal Soldier: Day of Reckoning. He co-wrote the screenplay, directed this badass sum bitch and even edited it!
He’s like a one man band! But the movie version of that…

It’s not really a Universal Soldier film without them right?
What’s Bad About It?
Not a DAMN thing. Or should I say a DAMME thing? BOOYAH!
Our Clever Prediction
I can’t wait until there’s a new box set with all the Universal Soldier films. It’ll compliment all my other box sets and special editions.
I’m currently wearing the actual boots Van Damme wore in the original. Cause I can.
Just kidding. This film will suck balls.
