I was lucky enough to receive Son of the Beach season 1 from our friends at Special OPs, and as a fan of the series, I was really looking forward to it this weekend.
The Scoop
Son of the Beach is a parody of “Baywatch” featuring Malibu Adjacent’s world-famous lifeguard, Notch Johnson. Its a series chalked full of one-liners, and sexy undertones as bikini clad women strut their stuff for the camera.
The Verdict
B.J. Cummings , Notch Johnson! Love the character names and the writing.
The season 1 DVD collection is hilarious and witty, perhaps ahead of its time. Son Of The Beach never took itself seriousl and knew exactly what it was doing when they made this series.
Sexy ladies and really funny one-liners made this a treat to watch over and over again.
