Two teenage boys share the same biological father and a love of basketball in this teen soap. Dan’s son Lucas is the product of his relationship with high-school sweetheart Karen, while Nathan is his son with Deb, whom he met and married in college. When Lucas joins the high-school basketball team, where Nathan is the star, a rivalry ensues, complicated by the fact that they share an attraction to the beautiful Peyton. Also in their orbit are Peyton’s best friend, Brooke, and Lucas’ pal Haley.
