True Grit (2010)

True Grit is a remake of the classic John Wayne cowboy film, in which a young girl seeks to avenge her father’s death at the hands of a hired hand. She hires a marshal to help her hunt her father’s killer

The film is directed by the Coen Brothers, so it’ll win my prize for best film of the year. My prize involves saying a few months before it releases that it will be good. It’s quite sought after. Jeff Bridges will take over for John Wayne, which I’ll accept. The film will reconnect the Coen Brothers with No Country for Old Men star Josh Brolin, who plays a really good cowboy. Didn’t you see Jonah Hex?

What’s Good About It?

It’s the Coen Brothers making a cowboy movie. Did you see No Country for Old Men?

What’s Bad About It?

I got nothing. Seriously. I guess you could say Jeff Bridges is no John Wayne, but he did just win an Oscar.

Our Clever Prediction

It’ll rock your world. Just like me in the jungle gym. That’s not a pedo joke. You have a sick mind. I don’t like the way you think.

Shut up.
