Transformers: Age of Extinction offers up a few new TV spots, Star Wars: Episode VII has casting, and 22 Jump Street offers up a few new film clips!
Transformers: Age of Extinction
Transformers: Age of Extinction has three new TV spots today, and they feature some new footage that actually make me want to discuss them. No, I still don’t care to see this, but that’s only because I haven’t seen the third one, and man, I don’t want the events of that epic flick to be ruined when they spoil it all with this new epic turd. On the plus side, Mark Walhberg looks good, and the writing is at least a little bit having fun with the concept of the films. So that’s good.
Star Wars: Episode VII
Star Wars: Episode VII has some new casting today, and a handful of photos over on TMZ that I’m not allowed to steal, so here’s the link: http://www.tmz.com/2014/06/02/star-wars-episode-7-set-photos-secret-pics-new-creature/
The casting is cooler anyways. Recent Academy Award winner Lupita Nyong’o has been cast in the upcoming seventh Star Wars flick, along with Game of Thrones’ Gwendoline Christie, who plays Brienne, the big badass lady who is awesome and I want to be best friends with (perhaps… breast friends). Who are they playing? No idea. Hopefully Princess Leia’s other daughters, who clearly are not the spawn of Han Solo. Just a thought.
22 Jump Street
22 Jump Street has a bunch of new videos today, two film clips, two featurettes, The first film clip shows how stupid college kids are, and the second shows how stupid Channing Tatum is. Considering he never went to college, I assume at least, that fits. The first featurette focuses on the relationship and chemistry between Channing and Jonah, while the second is more about the relationship between the film’s directors, as they’re quite close and very good friends. So… yeah.
