If you like western’s, like me, then you’ll have to discover this hidden gem.

The Plot : In the 1860s, five men led by Carver {Liam Neeson} have been tracking a mysterious man {Pierce Brosnan} across Nevada for more than two weeks. They shoot and wound him, but he gets away. They pursue, led by Carver, who will pay them each $1 a day once he’s captured.

The Truth : Seraphim Falls leads us on a wild, fun adventure, although we don’t know what to believe. Liam Neeson plays a hard headed bounty hunter determined to capture the notorious warrior Gideon, no matter what the cost. Why will he risk his own life and men to capture this mysterious man? Who is the villain? What happened in Seraphim Falls between these two men?

The Action : Keeping with traditional western standards, Seraphim Falls has plenty of action, creative battles and a few surprises in between.

Favorite Scenes : Without ruining the movie, theres this one particluar moment with a horse… a knife… and a surprising attack…

The Verdict : Seraphim Falls is a wonderful western, with standout performances from Brosnan and Neeson. If you love westerns, you’ll love this movie.. I promise.

Don’t listen to the critics on this one, they suck as usual. Let me address a few of the knuckle-heads who didn’t enjoy this movie :

New York Post : Lou Lumenick “…moseys along very slowly…”

Yeah Lou, it does, its a story about survial and hardship. Not every movie can satifsy your cravings for stupidity like Die Hard 4, or the other horrid films you recommend.

San Francisco Chronicle : Ruthe Stein “While Westerns no longer require a good guy and a bad guy, a point of view would be helpful, and it is nowhere to be found.”

When you review movies for a living, and battle ADD while doing so, a movie that requires an attention span of more than 5 minutes will be beyond your grasp.
