In this 2009 comedy, Peter Klaven, a recently engaged man who has lost touch with all his male friends over the years, goes on a series of man-dates to find a Best Man for his wedding.
The Truth
I Love You, Man is a decently funny film, with nothing too new in the shape of humor or laughs. Paul Rudd plays Peter Klaven perfectly, and I thought he connected really well with Jason Segel.
I Love You, Man is really similar to I Now Pronounce You Chuck And Larry, the humor is almost identical.
The Laughs
A few laughs here and there, nothing too original or crazy.
What’s good about it?
I had forgotten how good Rush was, and after the film I wen to itunes and downloaded the classic rock.
What’s bad about it?
Could have done without the male-on-male kissing.
Reminds me of
I Now Pronounce You Chuck And Larry
The Verdict
I Love You, Man is a decent comedy with a few memorable moments worth checking out.
