The DVD sequel to “Happily N’Ever After”, the CGI-Animated movie returns with the Seven Dwarves, Rumpelstiltskin, and the hysterically funny break-out characters, Mambo and Munk. Just like the original, HAPPILY N’EVER AFTER 2 follows everyone’s beloved fairy tales turned upside down in a funny, fast-paced adventure that is enjoyable for the entire family.
The Truth
A really enjoyable animation, with a real focus on the lighter side of the adventure. The 7 dwarfs were delightful and sarcastic, but not too over-the-top for the younger audience. My kids are 4, and found the humor pretty on par with most animations these days.
The Laughs
Lots of falls, stumbles and wisecracks that kept the entire family entertained for the most part.
What’s good about it?
Really decent animation, and a cartoon that doesn’t take itself too serious.
What’s bad about it?
Some content may be a little off for the young kids, but generally if your child is 4 and up this DVD will be fine.
You’ll Like It If
If you like Sponge Bob, you’ll enjoy this.
The Verdict
Happily N’Ever After 2 was a hit with me, and the kids. Check it out on DVD March 24th!
