I said I’d try and not let my hatred for Clive Owen get in the way of watching this anticipated rental. I said I’d give another movie with Clive Owen a real chance. I lied. Clive Owen is a brutal actor, and made this movie unwatchable.
Truth is, I shut off the movie 40 minutes in. I couldn’t watch Clive Owen any longer, he ruined the movie for me. The movie billed the lead actors as Clive Owen and Julianne Moore. What a load of BS this was. Julianne Moore is killed in the first 20 minutes and has a minor role in the movie.
A depressing, dark, fictional movie about how in the near future humans can no longer procreate {Have kids}. Clive Owen agrees to transport one remaining pregnant woman to a sanctuary where she may hold the keys to the future. Yawn. Owen isn’t an action star, but they keep throwing the goofy looking Brit into these roles.
Now its reported Owen is going to ruing another film I’m looking forward to in 2009 – Sin City 2. Thanks Clive, thanks a lot.
The movie is brutal, don’t rent it unless its for someone you dislike.
