A new Something Borrowed trailer, a couple Paul film clips, Scream 4 rating, Dark Tower casting, Apollo 18 posters, Robocop news, Jack the Giant Killer casting, and the internet proves that Canada is stupid, and full of stupids. Stupid.
Something Borrowed
There’s a new trailer for Something Borrowed online today. The first trailer came out a week ago, and now there’s a new one. Why? The trailers aren’t even all that different? Did the studio really feel that the first one didn’t fully capture the majesty of the film? It’s derivative crap. You could have had two monkeys flinging feces at each other and it would have been more interesting. To be fair, two monkeys throwing their poop is hilarious.
Movie News
Paul has a few film clips online. I’m looking forward to this one. The clips are funny, although they still feature Seth Rogen. It isn’t too late to recast, is it? It’s just voice work. And I just figured out that Hulu won’t let me embed the video, even though they have an embed code, so you can watch them here.
Scream 4
There’s been a rumor for a while that Scream 4 would be toned down to get a PG-13 rating. This rumor is false. It will be R, for stabbing n’ stuff. When I said that there has been a rumor for a while, I have no evidence of that, since this debunking of the rumor is the first I’ve heard of it, although that may be due to me not caring about the film. Yep. That’s it.
The Dark Tower
Brian Grazer, who is one of the producers for the Dark Tower film and TV adaptations, has said that Javier Bardem is definitely interested in playing Roland Deschain. At this point, the only thing that seems to be keeping him from signing up for the film is possible scheduling conflicts, since the project will be 3 movies and some TV appearances. It’ll be interesting to see an Oscar caliber actor like Bardem on the small screen. Could be cool. Could be. WILL BE.
Apollo 18
Hey, it’s a Russian Apollo 18 poster! OOOOO, all Russian n’ stuff. It’s weird how they have 21 months in Russia. In Russia the calendar turns YOUR pages. Communism! High five!

Robocop
The proposed reboot of Robocop is still possibly happening. Now that Darren Aronofsky is doing The Wolverine, it appears the studio is in negotiations with Brazilian director José Padilha to take over. This film is going to be a turd and the factory that makes turds. Or maybe it’ll be awesome. I loved the original, but I see it being a hard film to remake. I had some hope when it was Aronofsky directing, since he would at least do something interesting, but who knows? God. That’s who knows. And I like to think God spends his time outside of time, looking into the future, for Robocop news. If you could ask him how good the film is, he’d be able to tell you. Cause he’s God. But he wouldn’t let Jesus go, cause that’s his son and he doesn’t want him exposed to such a violent movie.
Jack the Giant Killer
Eleanor Tomlinson has been cast as the female lead opposite Nicholas Hoult in Bryan Singer’s Jack the Giant Killer. She’s pretty. She plays a princess. She’ll be a pretty princess. I hope she has a pony, then my… YOUR childhood fantasies will have come to life.
Shut up.
Canada
Just thought I’d share this with you. Canada – 0 Brian – 1 Billion and counting
