Film clips from Wreck-It Ralph, a pic from Evil Dead, poster and trailer for Carrie, a couple new Hobbit photos, and a behind the scenes video from Life of Pi.
Wreck-It Ralph
Wreck-It Ralph‘s new film clips are kinda cool. The first introduces the action game to the film, and seems fairly faithful overall to what modern badass video games are all about. I imagine they’ll have quite a bit of fun with the various games they enter. Sounds good.
The second shows a bit of the bad guy support group, and that one is more lame than cool. They seem like a bunch of wusses. They should be EVIL! Especially Bowser. That son of a bitch.

Nobody Walks
Nobody Walks has a new film clip, and it’s pretty intense. It appears Jim is cheating on Pam with a younger, hotter girl. And said girl is sorta a slutty bitch.
I’m all confused and sorta hot for this.
Evil Dead
Evil Dead has it’s first image of one of the possessed girls in the film. She looks pretty much exactly like the girl from The Exorcist, so I guess that’s good? I don’t know. Anyways, she looks pretty gross, but the placement of the trap door makes me think they’ll be a little too faithful to the original. I don’t really know what I want from this film. I liked the originals, though I’m not a true die hard fan, and I would like to see them updated, but at the same time I don’t want some retread of familiar ground with nothing new. We’ll see what happens I guess.

Carrie
Carrie has a new poster, and the marketers are really making this into too much of a film. It’s not going to be good, it’s not going to be a big hit, and a lot of people will be mad about it. We’ll know her name…
Is her name Poopy Mcbuttfucker?
Then why would I want to know her name?
We also have a new trailer, and it’s nothing really all that special, and it gets to the bloody ending of the film from the get go, which I think is part of the problem here. I’m too young to have been around for the original when it came out, but I feel like they couldn’t have given it all away from the beginning. But maybe I’m wrong. Maybe the marketers ruined that one.

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey
The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey has a few new photos, and one clearly shows Elijah Wood as Frodo. His cameo in the films hasn’t been a secret, as I assume the films will use an older Bilbo as a framing device for the story, but it still made me take a second look when he showed up. I can’t believe Wood was the star of those films. He was the real Hobbit. The one who took the ring to Mordor.
Bilbo was just a dude who tricked a retarded monster in a cave.
Life of Pi
I wish I could lead a life of pie…
I’d eat Apple mostly.
But I digress. I’d really like to see Life of Pi, especially after this new featurette that shows some behind the scenes photos, and gets some insight into the difficult nature of the project from the novelist, who thought the film might be too image-intensive to be filmable. He was wrong apparently.
