Underworld: Awakening

Or, at least, that’s what I got from this poster for Underworld: Awakening. I’ve been wrong once, so it could happen again.

Hmmm… what does this poster for John Carter tell me? Oh, right. There’s an Eiffel Tower on Mars. Stupid.

Warm Bodies

I don’t remember that much about Warm Bodies, but it’s essentially about a zombie loving a girl. I hope they play the song “Love Bites.”

That was a song, right? Or was it a movie? Huh. It was a song by Def Leppard. Wow. And it is horrible.

The Dark Knight Rises

The Dark Knight Rises will be feature on the cover of the next EW, and it’s a pretty crappy pic of Batman just… standing there. I’m not impressed. This is boring, and I NEVER thought I’d say that about The Dark Knight Rises.

Oh, and apparently you can start buying tickets for The Dark Knight Rises now. You know how I made a joke that I’d buy a ticket early for it when I posted about the early ticket purchases for The Hunger Games? Called it. BAM.

Thor 2

As Thor 2 is supposed to start shooting this summer for a 2013 release date, it’s obvious why there’d be some news about casting. It appears that Jamie Alexander’s character Sif will be in the second film. How extensive her role will be is anyone’s guess at this point, but at the very least she’ll have at a part. It’s also possible she’ll show up in the post-credits scene in The Avengers, but again, this is mostly speculation.

Another bit of Thor 2 news is that the film is about to receive a rewrite courtesy of Robert Rodat, who is best known for his work on Saving Private Ryan. Also, when asked what his role in the filmmaking process is, he says, “I Rodat.”

Get it? Like his last name, but also, “Wrote that.” But said with an accent?

I may also not know how to pronounce his name. It’s possible.
