Twilight: The Girl is Supposed to Be the Strongest
Good Lord, Twilight: The Girl is Supposed to Be the Strongest is looking like it’s going to be a turd. I mean, I realize they all are, but they just made Bella a vampire, apparently, and now she’s the strongest one, because this is a fantasy for young girls who don’t know enough to read 50 Shades of Grey or something.
This just makes me wanna puke.
Life of Pi
I was stranded on a boat once. Unlike the kid in Life of Pi I wasn’t on a life boat with a tiger. I was way more badass. I was on a broken jet ski.
With two tigers.
So this film clip doesn’t show a whole ton, but it does show the beautiful imagery of the film, and that’s cool.
Iron Man 3
Iron Man 3 has a new behind the scenes video that aired on ET and it shows very little from the film that wasn’t in the trailer, though it is kinda cool to hear how they keep designing each successive suit to be more comfortable and more usable, therefore allowing Downey and whatever stuntmen are in the film to do more. That’s good to hear.
Wreck-It Ralph
Wreck-It Ralph has a new featurette that takes you through some of the paces of the film, but the one thing it highlights, without explicitly saying it, is that the film has a great cast of well known actors, but not really big name actors. The Incredibles did the same thing, and instead of big names they got the right voices for the part, and it was way better for it. I hope Wreck-It Ralph can be at least half that good. If it is, it’s going to be quite good.
Evil Dead
Evil Dead has it’s first official trailer up, and it’s pretty damn gross, which I suppose is the point, so good job. The gore is pretty brutal looking, and this should be one scary ass film.
The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey
The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey is apparently going to be the shortest Lord of the Rings films yet, as it’ll only be two hours and forty minutes long according to Peter Jackson. Sheesh. That short?
I feel like I’m not getting my money’s worth.
