New trailer for Cars 2, casting for Django Unchained and Cloud Atlas, a new pic from The Hangover Part 2, and a film clip from Tree of Life.

Cars 2 is going to make a bajillion dollars. Fun fact: if you type a bajillion into a scientific calculator you win a prize! Anyways, here’s a new trailer for this summer’s biggest animated film and most likely contender for the Academy Award.

Django Unchained

Quentin Tarantino’s Django Unchained is apparently thinking of casting Will Smith as the lead. The film is said to be an homage to Spaghetti Westerns such as A Fist Full of Dollars and The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly. The story is about a former slave who goes up against a plantation owner to free his slave wife. Will Smith. Hmmm… I like it. Also, the movie will probably be awesome.

Cloud Atlas

The Wachowskis were at Cannes Film Festival on Thursday (I don’t know if they mean today, or last week, but I’m going with today so it doesn’t seem like I’m crazy late with this news) and they announced that Hugo Weaving, Susan Sarandon, Jim Broadbent and Ben Whishaw are all joining the cast of Cloud Atlas, which is said to have a pretty big budget for a film that sounds hard to make. Seriously check out the preview. That’s story sounds complicated.

The Hangover Part 2

The Hangover Part 2 has a new photo, and I can safely say this is NOT the funniest picture of someone eating a watermelon I’ve ever seen. It IS the funniest picture of a white guy eating a watermelon though.

Tree of Life

Tree of Life has a new film clip showing what a fantastic father Brad Pitt is. Thankfully, his spawn are half Angelina Jolie, so they’re tough.
