Pictures from Seven Psychopaths, a new X-Men title, trailers for The House at the End of the Street and Killing them Softly and casting news for Thor 2.
Seven Psychopaths
Seven Psychopaths has a few new photos from the upcoming issue of EW, and while they don’t show all that much, they do show Colin Farrell, Christopher Walken and Sam Rockwell in a funny hat holding a dog, so they’re a sign of good things.
It occurs to me that I have a strange idea of what ‘good’ means. Hmmm…
Well, I’m glad to be seeing this cool photos anyways. They’re… good.

X-Men: Days of Future Past
The sequel to last year’s decent X-Men: First Class now has a title, and it is… X-Men: Days of Future Past.
Okay, so that was a comic from the 80s that dealt with an alternate timeline and a senator getting killed by the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants. And then come the sentinels, which for those who DIDN’T grow up on awesome stuff like this are big robots that find and kill mutants.
Cool stuff. I want sentinels!
The House at the End of the Street
I feel more and more confident that the twist at the end of The House at the End of the Street is going to be that Jennifer Lawrence’s character is actually the psycho sister and that everything is in her head or something, but I really hope it’s really just that there’s a crazy girl (well, crazier than normal girls) who tries to kill her.
They just spend no time showing the evil sister in the trailers. It’s making me suspicious. It could be the boy she likes is really the crazy one and he killed his sister, but I also hope that is not the case. Just sayin’.
Killing them Softly
Killing them Softly has its first full trailer up today, and it’s pretty cool. There is a part of me that has trouble taking it seriously though because it reminds me a lot of The Mexican, which had both Brad Pitt and James Gandolfini (who played a hitman in that too). Still, the trailer is kinda cool, Pitt looks like a badass again, and I could see this making for a fantastic blend of funny and serious that does well come award season. My fingers have been crossed for some time now, so I’m not going to cross them. I’ll just keep them crossed.
Thor: The Dark World
You know how sometimes you want a really top notch actor, like, say, Ralph Fiennes, but for whatever reason you can’t get him so you go with someone who’s actually not half bad and sorta looks like Fiennes but still isn’t him?
Yeah, that’s what happened for the main villain in Thor: The Dark World. They’ve cast Christopher Eccleston as Malekith in the upcoming film. He’s the ruler of the evil elves. I don’t know about the character though…
GET IT? Cause it’s like the actor is the ruler of the elves, and not the character, who, in actuality, is the ruler of elves and one of the nine realms, with Earth being one and Asgard being another.
