New posters for Texas Chainsaw 3D and The Wolverine, trailers for Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters and John Dies at the End, and a featurette for Rise of the Guardians.
Texas Chainsaw 3D
I thought I’d start off the movie news today with a really bad poster for a film that’s likely going to be really bad. Because that’s how I roll. This poster for Texas Chainsaw 3D is terrible. I get that there’s a chainsaw and a guy with a really stupid looking mask, but where’s the heart?
I mean that literally. If I was chainsawing peeps to dead, I’d chainsaw out their hearts. Cause that’s how Cupid rolls. And I’m… Cupid?
…
The Wolverine
The Wolverine has a sweet new poster that I totally want on my wall. Someone make that happen.
Now.
I wish the whole film was in this visual style. How frickin’ sweet would that be?
Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters
Holy crap, if there was a Razzie award for worst trailer, this Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters trailer would get it.
This looks horrible. The tone, the special effects, the action. Horrible. I can not WAIT to see this!

John Dies at the End
John Dies at the End has a new trailer, and it’s pretty funny. They tell us to not spoil the ending. But I can’t imagine what would happen at the end of the film.
I mean, there are no clues…
Maybe Paul Giamatti does something cool. Yeah, I bet that’s it.
Rise of the Guardians
Rise of the Guardians has a new featurette that focuses on main character Jack Frost. It explains the gist of the film, and I like it well enough.
