New movie trailers for The Rum Diary, Don’t be Afraid of the Dark and In Time, and a new piece of Avengers artwork.
The Rum Diary
FINALLY, there’s a trailer for The Rum Diary, Johnny Depp’s latest Hunter S. Thompson film. I don’t know what I was expecting, but this really isn’t it. I’m not disappointed, it’s just… different. And yet now that I’ve seen it the trailer makes total sense.
Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark
Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark has looked kinda crappy up until now, primarily because of Katie Holmes, but it does have Guy Pearce, and this trailer gave me a few willies. So maybe it’ll be decent.
In Time
In Time might be awesome. It might also be crap, and since it stars Justin Timberlake I’m unfortunately leaning toward crap.
The Avengers
The Avengers has a new piece of promotional artwork up today, which is a cool group shot that shows a definite change in the Iron Man armor from the last movie, but it is still just a drawing. Too bad.
The Avengers is going to have a record first weekend guaranteed. I don’t know what the standing record is but its going to demolish it.
