A new pic from The Hobbit, casting for Red 2 and Sin City 2, title news for Star Trek 2 (whew, that’s a lot of 2′s!), behind the scenes videos for Resident Evil and Skyfall, a teaser for the Lincoln trailer and a film clip from The Master!

The Hobbit

The Hobbit has a new app, because what film wouldn’t want an app? And it has some new content, including the picture of Gandalf below. Right now, Gandalf is thinking, “Is this the one app to rule them all?”

Then he hits a child with his staff. Cause Gandalf is a total prick.

Red 2

Some part of me is surprised they’re making RED 2, a sequel to the good, if a bit boring, RED. RED stands for Retired Extremely Dangerous and the idea is nice enough, with older CIA operatives with a ton of experience taking on big new jobs for whatever reason, but the film was paint by numbers in many ways.

Anywho, David Thewlis has joined the cast as The Frog. That’s presumably a codename, but how awesome would it be to change your last name to Frog, and then name your son “The?”

Pretty awesome. Badass even. Mighty frickin’ sweet if you ask me. I’d approve.

Sin City 2

Sin City 2 also has some casting news, though this one is less surprising. Rosario Dawson, who looked mighty fine (I’m saying mighty a lot today, it must be the extra blood in my penis from the enlargement surgery, more on that to cum) in her fishnets as a hooker leader/cool chick, will be back for the sequel. Apparently the sequel will be called Sin City: A Dame to Kill For. It’ll come out in just under 13 months, on October 4, 2013. I liked the original, but this sequel has been a long time coming. I’m not sure how much I care anymore. Meh.

Star Trek 2

Star Trek 2 may not have a 2 in the title at all. Shocking! Director Abrams may have gone a new route. Hmmm… Based purely on the studio registering the domain name www.startrekintothedarkness.com people are thinking the film will indeed be called Star Trek Into Darkness. Not bad. I envision mighty dark things n’ stuff.

Speaking of mighty dark things, I decided, with my junk enlargement procedure, to go with ‘full black’ so while it doesn’t match my otherwise translucent white guy skin tone, I do think the insane size difference will really make a difference. I’m like a black and white cookie. Just the right amount of each color to be fun for playing in the dark.

Resident Evil: Retribution

Resident Evil: Retribution has a new behind the scenes video that shows how the ladies kick some ass. I love how Milla Jovovich thinks these fight scenes are cool because they have a sense of reality. That’s NOT why they’re cool. They’re cool because they’re insane. Duh.

Skyfall

Skyfall has a new behind the scenes featurette that primarily deals with their shooting parts of the film in Istanbul. This is a very cool Bond type of place to shoot a scene. I expect this will be a good opening sequence. Jolly good show, sirs.

Lincoln

Where’s that award statue polish? They’re gonna need it. Holy crap this teaser just made me have a seizure it was so award-worthy. Lincoln is going to be so good they’ll make new awards for it. Most awesomest film of the year?

The Master

The ONLY film that could be capable of taking down Lincoln is The Master. Not only has it been receiving some of the most glowing awards (it recently didn’t win an award because there was a rule at that award show that a single film couldn’t win too many awards… for reals) it ALSO has Joaquin Phoenix talking about cats!

No? Not the type of pussy he’s referring to? Are you sure? I’m a big time kitten guy, and I think I know when a guy is talking about furry little…
