The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey has yet to actually reveal the Goblin King, but there is a picture online today of the toy for the Goblin King, and there are a few things I could say about this toy, but none of them are as awesome as the neck. I thought that was a beard, but I think it’s skin…

Identity Thief
Identity Thief has a trailer, and I’m surprised at how broad the comedy is in this film, as well as how charming and funny said comedy looks. Of course, Jason Bateman is the man, but I’m surprised at how well Melissa McCarthy comes across in this. She was great on Gilmore Girls (not that I watched that… I’m a manly man and all), but she’s really good here and doesn’t feel out of place as the lead in a film. I wish I had three thumbs.
To put up. Three thumbs up. I’m not just some weirdo that wants three thumbs. YOU’RE THE WEIRDO.
Thor: The Dark World
Thor: The Dark World may be expanding their mystical world a little more than originally thought with the sequel to Thor. In Norse Mythology there were nine realms (or at least Norse Mythology according to comic books). One realm was Asgard, where the Gods live, and Earth was another. In Thor we also got to take a look at Jotunheim, which is where the Frost Giants lived. It appears for the sequel we may see all nine realms. That should be quite exciting. I don’t think they’ll spend a lot of time in these other realms, as there has to be something for Thor 3, 4 and 5, but it’s very cool to think they’ll be giving us a lot of new material. I think Iron Man 2 had the problem of being a bit more of the same, so hopefully Iron Man 3 and Thor: The Dark World will break from their origins a bit and give us something cool and new.
