Movie news for The Hobbit, Hunger Games, Lockout & More!

A new production video for The Hobbit, pics from Lockout, Men in Black 3 and The Avengers, and a film clip from The Hunger Games.

The Hobbit

The Hobbit has a new production video, and it’s essentially more of Peter Jackson showing off some sets and locations. Interestingly, he’s actually starting in on the second Hobbit film now, as filming for the first appears to be done (minus reshoots I assume) and they’re just doing post production at this point. The video is sorta long, but otherwise pretty good.

Lockout

Lockout, starring Guy Pearce as a badass and Maggie Grace as the President’s daughter/hot girl, has a new photo of Ms. Grace, and not to be weird, but even with a bleeding leg, what appears to be men’s shoes and an unflattering sitting position, she is still hotter than the sun. Just saying.

Men in Black 3

Men in Black 3 has a new picture, and Josh Brolin REALLY looks like Tommy Lee Jones in it. Except he has way more hair. It’s actually quite the flowing main.

Except it’s super conservatively combed, and not flowing per se, but it LOOKS GREAT.

The Avengers

Not a lot has been said or shown of Cobie Smulders from The Avengers, but she plays Maria Hill, the right hand woman to Nick Fury, who is played by Sam Jackson. I’ve only recently gotten into How I Met Your Mother, but I got crazy into it and watched six and a half seasons in a few weeks, so I have to admit I’m in love with Ms. Smulders. Cause she’s… smoldering. LIKE HER NAME.

Also, because she’s hot. And nothing looks better than a stern expression and a onesie. NOTHING.

Interesting fact: at one point Avengers director Joss Whedon was hired to make a Wonder Woman film, and Cobie was his choice to play her. Cool.

The Hunger Games

The Hunger Games has a new film clip, and it’s of the pre-Hunger Games part where each of the contestants has to show off some of their skills so that the jerks in the Capitol can bet on who will win. Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) shows that she can use a bow and arrow.

I’ll let her string my bow, if you know what I mean. WAIT. I mean, I’ll let her play with my arrow.

There are feathers on it!
