Movie News for The Hobbit, Dylan Dog, Water for Elephants and Source Code

Superman morphs into Constantine (read and you’ll understand), a new Water for Elephants cinema trailer for you, The Hobbit title possibilities, and a Source Code poster that momentarily makes you forget how bad the film looks!

Dylan Dog

Dylan Dog is a comic book adaptation starring Brandon Routh, who played Superman. The movie looks like a bad version of Constantine. Tone wise, the film looks a bit more like Hellboy, but it’ll probably stink cause of Brandon Routh. He kinda stinks (awesome appearance in Scott Pilgrim aside).

Water for Elephants

Who loves Twilight? (mentally challenged hands everywhere go up) Then you’ll love this new trailer for Water for Elephants, where Edward Cullen falls in love with the Legally Blonde broad and heals elephants. And hearts. He heals hearts.

The Hobbit

In my ever vigilant attempt to bring you whatever Hobbit news comes forth, there are a few rumors going around as to the names of the films. Since the book is being made into two films, they obviously need two names. The Hobbit: There and Back Again and The Hobbit: An/The Unexpected Journey. There and back again was Tolkien’s alternative name for the book, so that one makes sense, and The Unexpected Journey probably refers to the journey that no one ever expected to see, since it was ONE BOOK and they’re just making up a new story to make money. Not that I mind, but still.

Source Code

I haven’t tried to hide my disdain for Source Code. The reason? It looks stupid. Like 12 Monkeys, but with Jake Gyllenhaal, who ruins life. On the plus side, there’s a new poster that was created for SXSW. It’s kinda awesome. And by ‘kinda’ I mean ‘totally. So it’s totally awesome. SNAPDRAGON.
