Featurettes for The Possession and Dredd, a film clip from For A Good Time Call…, a new pic from The Hobbit and TV spots for Frankenweenie.

The Possession

The Possession has a new featurette on the nature of the Dibbuk, or Jewish demon, that the film is based on. Essentially it’s the same thing as the demons from films like The Exorcist, but this time partially explained by Matisyahu, so it’s way funnier. The demon is in limbo, and wants to possess a person because if it can it escapes punishment from other demons or something like that. All I know is that I had a demon once, it was called puberty, and it made me angry and very interested in handling my junk.

I’m older now, and while the demon has left, its legacy remains. I’m still one angry mofo.

Dredd

Dredd has a new film clip that focuses on both the slo-mo cameras and the slo-mo drug from the film. Basically, in the movie there’s a new drug that allows people to experience time at 1% speed. It’s a pretty cool effect, and it actually does look a lot like a comic book panel. They did this sort of thing in 300 and that was pretty cool, so I have high hopes here too.

For A Good Time Call…

For A Good Time Call… has a new red band film clip, and it’s boring as heck. It sets up the idea in the film that the two roommates don’t much like each other, but I could care less. Meh. Yawn. Blah blah blah bullshit.

The only thing that sorta halfway saves this film is Justin Long. He has a Peruvian boy coming over. That’s sorta funny.

The Hobbit

The Hobbit has a new picture of super awesome badass dwarf Thorin Oakenshield, who has not only a really cool looking axe, but also a sword.

And cool hair. HE HAS IT ALL!!!!!

Frankenweenie

Frankenweenie has two new TV Spots, and they’re pretty basic overall. The first just gives the basics of the plot, and the second trades on Tim Burton’s success with Alice in Wonderland.

I really don’t think this is going to be any good. It’s just boring at this point. I’ve had enough of Burton’s visual aesthetic. Just sayin’.
