Movie news for The Campaign, Total Recall, The Words & more!

Clips from The Campaign, a behind the scenes clip from Total Recall, trailers for The Words, The Bachelorette and Taken 2, a poster for Dredd and casting for The Hunger Games and The Wolf of Wall Street.

The Campaign

The Campaign has some new film clips that are remarkably funny. The first is a clip of Will Ferrell trying to lead the Lord’s Prayer, and doing an awfully good job of it. It sounds almost exactly like I remember it. The other two videos are fake campaign ads for the two main characters of the film, and they’re sorta funny, though not as good as the religious one. That’s cool though. They can’t all be home runs. Sometimes you need to get on base. Single, double, whatever. Just get on base.

Total Recall

Total Recall has a new featurette that deals with the technology behind making their hovercars. It’s actually pretty cool to see that they built some models of these cars to make it seem more realistic. It worked. I totally believe it. WHERE’S MY FLYING CAR?

The Words

The Words has a new trailer that doesn’t really give you a full picture of the story. It really just focuses on Bradley Cooper’s character, and, at least from what I’ve gathered thus far, much of the story is going to be about the story that his character steals. The basics of the plot is that Cooper is a failing writer who comes across an old manuscript that was hidden for years and years. He ends up getting the book published in his own name, and deals with the personal torments of having plagiarized another’s work, especially as the book is a big success.

Eventually, the real writer contacts him, but it’s the story itself that’s so amazing. Cooper reads through it and I believe at least some of the film is the story within the story. I know, sorta confusing, but I like the concept. This trailer just focuses on Cooper, and not what I believe will be the other, hopefully equally interesting parts of the film.

Bachelorette

Bachelorette has a new trailer that has Lizzy Caplan talking about Bjs quite a bit, and then there’s a wedding dress with blood and semen on it.

SWEET.

But wait, isn’t that for the wedding night? Not before the wedding? I’m so confused. Anyways, I would very much so like a blowjob from Lizzy Caplan, but I’ll settle (for now…) to see her talk about blowjobs.

Bachelorette Red Band Trailer from Kirsten Dunst

Taken 2

Taken 2 has a new international trailer that’s badass as heck. It gives a bit more of the story, which is extremely common and you’ll no doubt know it all already, but I still like it. Taken 2 comes out on October 5, and I’m genuinely excited to sit down in that dark theater, next to your mom, and let my brain shut off as I watch Liam Neeson kick some butt.

Then later that night I make you a brother!

Dredd

Dredd has a new poster that is BADASS to the EXTREME. They just need to get Judge Dredd and Liam Neeson’s Taken character Bryan Mills (not the cool way of spelling Brian, but he’s okay I guess) in the same room and the BADASSNESS WILL BE INSANE.

Just look at the burning buildings and Dredd’s frowning face! It’s LIKE HE’S MADE OF BADASSNESS.

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire

The only thing I catch when I’m hungry is a cold…

But The Hunger Games: Catching Fire has added Lynn Cohen as Mags! Mags is an older tribute who has been a mentor to Finnick, another winning tribute, from District 4. If you’ve never read the books, that is all gibberish and I apologize. Basically, she’s an old lady who trained children to kick ass once upon a time. See? So easy to understand.

The Wolf of Wall Street

The Wolf of Wall Street, Martin Scorsese’s next team up with muse Leonardo DiCaprio, has add Matthew McConaughey as Mark Hanna, DiCaprio’s boss in the film. The story is about an incredibly successful wall street broker’s rise and fall, so no doubt McConaughey will be a jerk who treats DiCaprio like crap only to lose out to him later and finally be vindicated in the end.

At least I’m guessing.

Have not seen this remake yet but I just wish they had changed the end. In the first version it would have been a much better end if Arnie and Sharon had woken up in bed together pesent day (not in the future) and Sharon had said Wot’s the matter honey are you okay? and Arnie replied I don’t know I just had this weird dream. A much better ending don’t you think?
