Well, good news, True Believers! Joss Whedon, the writer/director for the summer’s biggest hit The Avengers, will be back for the sequel as both writer and director again!
This pretty much couldn’t be better news. He did something truly impressive and amazing with The Avengers. He took all this huge personalities and made them work in a single film. I can honestly say this is some very welcome, though not terribly surprising, news.
The Hunger Games: Catching Fire
The Hunger Games: Catching Fire has found their Enobaria. Meta Golding will be playing the part of this beautiful, though brutally violent tribute in the special edition of the Hunger Games that the story focuses on. I hardly remember her from the books, but I’ve tried to force as much of the story out of my head as possible so hopefully this is a good thing.
A Good Day to Die Hard
A Good Day to Die Hard has cast Mary Elizabeth Winstead, who will be reprising her role from the fourth Die Hard film as John McClane’s daughter. She’s super duper hot, so news that she’ll be in A Good Day to Die Hard is very welcome, but it appears she’ll only have a small role in the film that may not amount to much more than a cameo. Darn. She wasn’t utilized nearly enough in Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, so I hope she gets a few more lines, IN THE NUDE, and does some jumping jacks.
Skyfall
Skyfall has a few new behind the scenes photos, and I like how even when Daniel Craig isn’t actually playing the role of Bond he still seems a lot like how I’d picture James Bond: scarf, camera, laughing woman who he probably banged, laughing other dude.
Yeah, he’s cool.
Twilight: Breaking Up is Hard to Do: Part Deux
Twilight: Breaking Mirrors is Seven Years Bad Luck: The Second, will be featured on the cover of the next EW, and it’s so awesome how they put vampires out in the sun. So awesome. It’s just how I would have done it. JUST HOW I’D DO IT.

The Expendables 2 has a new film clip that showcases Sylvester Stallone’s envy of Wolverine and Terry Crews’ hatred of water towers.
Stallone doesn’t beat Wolverine in this round though, because Wolverine didn’t just launch a motorcycle into a helicopter, he used himself as a missile that ripped the helicopter apart by hand. Or claw…

3, 2, 1… Frankie Go Boom
3, 2, 1… Frankie Go Boom has a new trailer, and it just doesn’t feel right to me. A film that reunites Sons of Anarchy stars Ron Perlman and Charlie Hunnam should be awesome. But Jackson Teller (Hunnam) is not a badass here, and I think of him as a badass. Oh well, it looks kinda funny.
