Taken 2

Taken 2 looks a lot like… Taken. Seriously, if you find a formula more closely followed than this one, let me know. I’m not saying this is a bad thing, and the premise here, that the guys he killed in the first film had families who are bad guys and they’re coming after him, isn’t half bad. Yeah, it’s kinda silly that they actually “Take” someone else (it’s his ex-wife this time) but it still works. Honestly, we just want to see Liam Neeson kick some ass.

Dredd

Speaking of kicking some ass, this Dredd trailer… sorta does. After such a long wait for a trailer, it doesn’t do very much for me. I’m not excited, yet I’m not really disappointed either. It’s not bad. It’s just not good. I’m literally equally excited for this film as I was before watching the trailer. I guess that’s a victory considering the last Judge Dredd film.

Hotel Transylvania

Hotel Transylvania, more like hotel stupid. It turns out this film is more about Dracula being an overprotective father. Meh.

Ted

If there’s one thing I like more than talking bears, it’s boobs, and this red band featurette for Ted has both. I AM IN.

Basically it gives a breakdown, with some new footage, of the film, and it looks really funny.

Savages

This Savages film clip is sorta boring. It doesn’t strike me as even remotely realistic, the acting is over the top, and I’m thinking this will not be Oliver Stone’s finest film. Just a hunch.

The Watch

The Watch actually has an incredibly funny film clip up today that gives me a lot of hope for the film, as this is essentially not a plot point at all but shows how much fun the actors are having making the film. I actually laughed a couple times. And Vince Vaughn continues to kill it.

Oz: The Great and Powerful

Oz: The Great and Powerful has a sorta blurry look at James Franco as the Oz himself, and… he has a hat. I have FULLY UNCOVERED THE SECRETS OF THE FILM. MY WORK HERE IS DONE.
