Let’s see… we have a motion poster for The Darkest Hour, a director for Star Trek 2, casting for Django Unchained, and a trailer for We Bought a Zoo.
The Darkest Hour
I have to admit that the motion poster for The Darkest Hour does little for me, but the trailer was cool enough that I’m willing to allow it. I don’t know how to embed motion posters, so you can see it here.
Star Trek 2
I thought this was confirmed a billion years ago, but that was just me looking into the future and knowin’ stuff. Anyways, Star Trek 2 is now confirmed to be directed by J.J. Abrams, and the script is said to be almost finished, and it’ll shoot this winter. No set release date yet, but it was originally supposed to be next summer, so when you feel like there’s something missing come summer 2012, blame Abrams. He just HAD to make Super 8.
Which was okay. BUT NOT STAR TREK.
Django Unchained
Quentin Tarantino’s next film, Django Unchained, has cast Samuel L. Jackson (shocker) and Gerald McRaney. Apparently Jackson will play a bad guy. That’s right. Samuel Motherf*cking Jackson is going to side with the slave master. Not a sentence I thought I’d write today. Oh well. Sounds good.
We Bought a Zoo
We Bought a Zoo has a trailer! And I could care less cause there are supposedly leaked photos of a naked Scarlett Johannson online. Notice how I mention that at the end of the post, so you wouldn’t leave until I was finished?
Oh wait. WATCH THE TRAILER FIRST. Nuts. You’re gone, aren’t you? I could say anything and no one would hear me. Okay, here it goes. I don’t really hate Canada all that much. Thank goodness no one could hear that. I’d never live it down.
