Movie news for Spider-Man, Bling Ring, Expendables & More!

A pic from The Bling Ring, trailers for The Amazing Spider-Man, The Expendables 2 and End of Watch, and a film clip from Cosmopolis.

The Bling Ring

I’m pretty sure the only reason The Bling Ring is getting made is because the filmmakers get to dress Hermione up like a slut.

NICE.

The Amazing Spider-Man

It’s a good week to be a nerd. A few days ago we got a new trailer for The Dark Knight Rises, and now we get a new Amazing Spider-Man trailer, and both are freaking awesome.

This Spider-Man trailer shows quite a bit more of the film, and we get some good looks at The Lizard, but more important is the hint that Norman Osborn might play a bit of a part in the film. At one point Dr. Connors (who turns into the Lizard) is being interrogated by someone, who asks him if he’s revealed anything about Peter’s parents. And there’s a shot of Oscorp right before this. Very interesting idea. I’m looking forward to seeing how this plays out.

The Expendables 2

The Expendables 2 also has a new trailer, and I’m not sure what my favorite part is. There’s just so many.

Oh, right. It’s when Arnold Schwarzenegger rips the door off a little wieny hybrid car. Cause they’re for whimps. Rock on, sir. ROCK ON.

End of Watch

End of Watch has a new trailer, and I’ll have to write up a preview for this soon. It looks interesting. The film must have slipped between the cracks.

The butt cracks.

I’d apologize for that, but this is the interwebs. Anyways, this trailer for End of Watch is pretty cool, though I don’t like Jake Gyllenhaal very much. The story seems to follow a pair of cops who are big run and gunners, and they stumble upon a huge operation, which they subsequently take down. Oh, and this pisses off the cartels, who now want their blood. Uh-oh. Those dudes are mean.

Cosmopolis

Good Lord, this Cosmopolis film clip doesn’t make a lot of sense. I’ll admit I’m intrigued by the film, though I feel, even from just this short clip, that the writing is subpar. I say this because it’s so unnatural. I get that they’re discussing magically big issues, but it feels to me as if it’s done without honesty. I don’t love it.
