The Amazing Spider-Man
The Amazing Spider-Man has a new poster, and it doesn’t make any sense. How is it possible for a Andrew Garfield’s Peter Parker to cast that shadow? I think there’s some photoshop going on here.
I can accept that a man can cling to walls because of a spider bite, but I draw the line at phony shadows. Reality… ruined.
The Divide
I just put up a preview for The Divide yesterday, and the opening scene is online today. The filmmakers must have read my preview and thought it needed a bit more oomph. Anyways, the film is about a group of people surviving a nuclear blast, so you can probably guess how it starts.
It starts with the bomb.
Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol
Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol has a new film clip up today. Well, it’s really just an extended version of a previously released scene, with the building, but it’s a bit better I suppose.
The Dark Knight Rises
The Dark Knight Rises has shown the prologue to a handful of writers (not me? WTF?) and it appears to be quite exciting. Bane is on a plane, and he takes it down by crashing another plane into it or something. I just came. Anyways it’s somewhat similar to the zero-G stuff from Inception, but apparently it’s pretty tough to make out what Bane is saying. That sucks. Oh well.

Ender’s Game
Ender’s Game has cast Ben Kingsley in the role of Mazer Rackham, who was a war hero during the first war with the bad guy aliens. Ender is humanity’s hope of a new Mazer. I don’t want to give away too much, so all I’ll say is that Kingsley is a cool choice. Approved.
Battleship
I don’t even want to make my customary stupid jokes about the Battleship game and how you sunk something, etc., but this trailer is so bad I don’t even want to make a joke. How is it that Rihanna’s dad knew the aliens were coming? Never mind. Don’t care.
