New TV Spots for Seven Psychopaths and Argo, a new trailer for Taken 2, a teaser for the forthcoming Twilight trailer and a pic from the Hobbit!
Seven Psychopaths
Seven Psychopaths has a new TV spot, and it doesn’t really show anything new. All this was in the trailers. That’s cool though. I still get a kick out of the end, where Christopher Walken doesn’t put his hands up when threatened by a gun.
Argo
Argo has a new TV spot also, and while it doesn’t show an awful lot either, I am intrigued by it. The little tag line, “The most important movie of all time… was never made!”
It’s actually not a bad line, and it makes sense. For those not awesome like me, the film is about a CIA operative who pretended to be making a film to help smuggle out some hostages from Iran. The film would no doubt have been amazing. It’s too bad it didn’t get made. I bet it would’ve been a hit.
Taken 2
Taken 2‘s new internet trailer is fantastic. I don’t say that lightly. The filmmakers and Liam Neeson clearly know he’s a badass, and they’re leveraging that with this new trailer. Neeson introduces it. Neeson makes me want to see it.
I also like that they’re just going for it with him being a super tough killer. They did it in the first film as well, but here it’s really been driven home. Over and over again. Works for me!
Twilight: Is This Still a Thing? Part 2
Twilight: Is This Still a Thing? Part 2 has a teaser for a trailer, and I know now that the Volturi are coming, werewolves are not afraid of them, and I still don’t care.
I already knew the first and last one, but I TOTALLY thought werewolves were afraid of vampires before. In fact, I think they still are and he’s just saying that to not look like a chicken.
Cock-a-doodle-do.
Is that appropriately spelled?
The Hobbit
As an expert in all things, allow me to narrate this particular image from the Hobbit. Peter Jackson probably doesn’t want this getting out, but he should’ve thought of that before doing something because I’m in this world and I know all. That’s why I write part-time for a movie news blog. And eat macaroni and cheese off a styrofoam plate that I wash and reuse.
The fancy ones have designs!
ANYWAYS, in this new picture Bilbo Baggins, of Bag End, is running home from school with his report card. He got a bad grade and needs to get home before his mommy so that he can get to his magical pen in his secret drawer. That pen can change the grades so mommy is none-the-wiser.
Little does he know that mommies are much like me: they know all. She’ll play along for a time, but eventually she’ll throw him outside with the pig until he turns into a pig. See, the pig is his brother.
AND THAT’S WHY YOU DON’T LIE.
