The World’s End is going to be good. Paddy Considine has been cast. THANK GOODNESS. I believe he’ll be one of the group attempting the epic bar crawl. His character is a divorced architect. No doubt he’s good at building things…

AND HAVING THEM FALL APART, LEAVING HIM EMPTY AND ALONE!!!

Kick-Ass 2

Though they have yet to announce the name of the actress playing Mother Russia in Kick-Ass 2, and at least based on her arm and Christopher Mintz-Plasse’s facial expression I think we can assume she’s a big lady. That’s good. She’s the main threat to Hit-Girl, who, as we all know, is an incredibly skilled murdering psychopathic young girl.

Cloud Atlas

Cloud Atlas has a new trailer! And it looks friggin’ awesome. I keep being surprised by this film. I want it to look like a turd sandwich, but everytime I shut my eyes to take a bite I realize it’s meatloaf!

Goodness gracious. That was a disgusting metaphor. WHY DIDN’T YOU STOP ME? Now I have this horribly shitty taste in my mouth.

But the trailer for Cloud Atlas looks really good. The visuals, story and acting all look superb. I am impressed. But to be clear, the Wachowskis made the second and third Matrix films LOOK good, and they were… well, you thought you were getting meatloaf and it went the other way.

Dredd

Dredd has two new TV spots that both make Judge Dredd look totally awesome yet also not as awesome as me.

I’m completely mute in real life. I don’t allow bad guys to enter a defense, and when someone describes me as a “shoots first and asks questions later” kinda guy I shoot them and don’t ask any questions, because I DON’T ASK QUESTIONS.

Dredd comes out September 20th. I’m not going to ask if you’re going to see it because I know you are, and I DON’T ASK QUESTIONS. Okay?

Resident Evil: Retribution

Today’s new Resident Evil: Retribution TV spot is pretty cool in that it gives a few shots from previous films in the series, thus making us remember these films have been going on forever. I can’t believe Michelle Rodriguez is back. I like her.

Gambit

There hasn’t been much news for Gambit in a while. But now there are posters! They show Snape looking made and Colin Firth trying to look like a hipster. Both succeed…

And there’s a lion. Not sure about the lion.
