A new pic from Prometheus, posters for Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance, Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, and Battleship, a synopsis for Total Recall, and casting for Thor 2.
Prometheus
Prometheus has a new picture that shows both star Noomie Rapace and what are apparently ‘Space Jockey Suits.’ I didn’t know this till now, but there were Space Jockey suits in Alien, and I guess a big creature from Alien wore these suits. I’m not 100% sure, but it appears that Prometheus will tell the story of these creatures. So it’s sorta a prequel to Alien, in that there are similar creatures, but it’s also different. Which is what director Ridley Scott has been saying. So it turns out he wasn’t lying.
I’ll be honest: I’m I’m not terribly taken with Noomie Rapace yet. She was the Swedish Girl with the Dragon Tattoo’s Lisbeth Salander, and she was good in the role, but everything else I’ve seen her in makes it seem like she’s a moron. In Sherlock Holmes 2 she didn’t seem to understand what was going on, and in most of the pics from Prometheus so far she looks confused. I guess that’s good acting.

Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance
Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance has a new poster, this time from France, and it really shows the difference in culture between a great country like the US and France. In America the chains and skull head are more pronounced, because we’re badass and awesome. In France, Nic Cage’s massive forehead is front and center.
Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter
Well, there’s a new poster, two new pics AND a behind the scenes video from Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter today. I feel tired just thinking about it. The poster is kinda cool, as are the pics, though the video is kinda blah. The one thing it does show is how well they made Benjamin Walker look like Abraham Lincoln. It’s pretty cool.
But for the next video, please include Mary Elizabeth Winstead. I like her. She’s pretty.

Battleship
“The Battle for Earth Begins at Sea.”
What a crap tagline for Battleship. Does the battle ever get to the land? Is the sequel going to be Monopoly? Are the aliens going to get into real estate? Or will they be defeated when the hero gets for dots in a row?
No. The good guys win when they SINK THOSE STINKIN’ BATTLESHIPS.
Total Recall
Fun Fact: I have Total Recall.
What was I saying? Oh, right. There’s an official synopsis out for Total Recall today, and it completely changed my thinking about the film… NOT.
See what I did there? I’ll explain it later. Anyways, the plot synopsis seems pretty good, but I prefer mine: Colin Farrell bangs both Kate Beckinsale and Jessica Biel. AT THE SAME TIME.
Read the official synopsis below, and tell me my idea isn’t better. Except you substitute me for Jessica Biel.
I MEAN COLIN FARRELL.
“Total Recall” is an action thriller about reality and memory, inspired anew by the famous short story “We Can Remember It For You Wholesale” by Philip K. Dick. Welcome to Rekall, the company that can turn your dreams into real memories. For a factory worker named Douglas Quaid (Colin Farrell), even though he’s got a beautiful wife (Kate Beckinsale) who he loves, the mind-trip sounds like the perfect vacation from his frustrating life – real memories of life as a super-spy might be just what he needs. But when the procedure goes horribly wrong, Quaid becomes a hunted man. Finding himself on the run from the police – controlled by Chancellor Cohaagen (Bryan Cranston), the leader of the free world – Quaid teams up with a rebel fighter (Jessica Biel) to find the head of the underground resistance (Bill Nighy) and stop Cohaagen. The line between fantasy and reality gets blurred and the fate of his world hangs in the balance as Quaid discovers his true identity, his true love, and his true fate.
Thor 2
This isn’t the most surprising piece of news, but it’s still welcome. Super badass Idris Elba has confirmed that he will reprise his role as Heimdall in Thor 2. Sweet. He was pretty cool in Thor, and his super deep voice makes women shiver with excitement.
And I like shivering girls.
