War Horse

Steven Spielberg’s War Horse has a new, full trailer today, and it looks okay. When I go see the film, I’m gonna say, “I need to go see a man about a horse… a WAR horse.” Then I’m going to high five a stranger, who just happens to know how cool I am. It’s gonna be great.

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo looks pretty darn good, especially because I think there’ll be nudity, and I like nudity. Also, these trailers are rocking.

Immortals

How cool is King Hyperion in Immortals? He declares war on ALL OF HUMANITY. I almost declared war on a sandwich earlier, but then peace negotiations helped me realize that I should just not eat. True story.

Man of Steel

Oh man, Man of Steel is looking stupid. I understand that Superman’s costume is really just a variation of the normal Kryptonian fashions, but I don’t like to be reminded of it. Here are some pics of Russell Crowe, who is playing Supe’s father, Jor-El, in Man of Steel.

One Shot

The film adaptation of Lee Child’s One Shot, starring Tom Cruise, has cast Wernor Herzog as the villain, a character referred to as The Zec. I hope it’s as in “what the zec is going on here?”

Django Unchained

There has been a lot of casting news for Django Unchained, and that’s not stopping today. M.C. Gainey, who was on Lost and a ton of movies and TV shows, is up for a role in Django. He’d play Big John Brittle, who is a slave driver. Well, that’s perfect casting.

No offense, Mr. Gainey. You just look like a southern dude who can kick butt.
