Trailers for My Week with Marilyn and Tintin, and posters for Puss in Boots, The Muppets and The Hunger Games.
My Week with Marilyn
My Week with Marilyn is looking better and better. This first trailer gives me some real hope. The film does seem to go the basic, “Oh, how hard it must have been to be Marilyn Monroe” route, but at the same time there are some moments in the trailer that make me think they’ll not just kiss her butt the whole time, but also show some of the stuff that made her alone toward the end of her life.
The Adventures of Tintin
The Adventures of Tintin has a full trailer up, and it looks pretty decent. That’s all.
Wait. That’s all? AHHHH. The trailer has made me stupid and complacent.
I’m moving to Canada.
Puss in Boots
Man, Garfield has lost weight. Huh? That’s not Garfield? Oh. Well then. Hmmm… Here’s a poster for Puss in Boots. Looking good never looked so good. I guess they haven’t seen ME!

The Muppets
This new poster for The Muppets makes me think the one in the front left is getting it from behind from Miss Piggy. Now you’ll never see anything else.

The Hunger Games
These The Hunger Games posters aren’t half bad. I feel like the filmmakers, and more likely the marketing team behind the film, have really gotten a handle on how to properly promote this sucker. I didn’t exactly love the books, so I can’t say I’m really looking for them to do a faithful adaptation, but so far everything I’ve seen makes me think they will. I suppose that’s a good thing.
