Possible casting for Iron Man 3, odd Lone Ranger score news, a Snow White TV spot, pics from The Dark Knight Rises, The Amazing Spider-Man trailer news, and a brutal film clip from Headhunters.
Iron Man 3 is gearing up to start shooting soon, and two more names have become likely candidates for the film. Jessica Chastain and Andy Lau are both said to be up for parts in the film. Chastain would play a scientist as intelligent as Tony Stark, though I would be more interested in calling her the girl who looks like Gwyneth Paltrow, so there’ll be some sexual tension based purely on the similarity of their looks.
Like how my girlfriend is always jealous of Helen of Troy.
Andy Lau would play a Chinese scientist, but not an evil one. Whew. For a minute there I didn’t think Iron Man stood a chance!
For a guy who is all alone, The Lone Ranger sure has a lot of help. The latest helper will be doing the score for Gore Verbinski’s megablockbuster, and that man is… Jack White.
From the White Stripes. That’s… interesting. Don’t get me wrong, I’m actually really excited to see what he has to offer, and I bet the score will be FAR more interesting than whatever score a normal dude would offer, but it also makes me wonder about The Lone Ranger and what the heck we’re in store for.
Snow White and the Huntsman has a new TV Spot that says “This is no Fairy tale.”
I think GLADD should be pissed. They’re saying Snow White isn’t for fairies? Not cool, man.
If you were wondering what poses your The Dark Knight Rises action figures would be in, WONDER NO MORE. They’ll be standing like this:
Much like The Dark Knight Rises, The Amazing Spider-Man will have a new trailer debut with The Avengers. If I wasn’t already super excited about the movie and hearing tons of good reviews I would REALLY want to see this for the trailers. So… it’s a good thing.
In case any of you were worried the Swedish film Headhunters would pull punches with the violence, here’s a film clip that shows the main character fighting a viscious dog. It’s a pretty darn brutal, and not for animal lovers. This film has already been earmarked for an English language remake, and I’ve heard nothing but good things. Nonetheless, the film clip today is kinda tough to watch, so if you’re sensitive about animals getting killed, don’t watch.
I can’t embed it because Hulu sucks balls, and it’s a mature audiences-only clip, so you can watch it here.
