Film clips from Flight and Skyfall, and a teaser for the forthcoming Iron Man 3 trailer as well as a couple pics. Kinda a slow day.
Flight
Flight has a new film clip, and can I just say that for as cool as Denzel Washington is, John Goodman just embarassed him. Based purely on his advice I’d start smoking in hospitals.
True story.
I do like that they show Denzel Washington to be more concerned with his self destructive ways than anything else. Cool.
Skyfall
Skyfall has a new film clip that shows the first meeting between Bond and his new Q, now played by Ben Whishaw, and it’s not a bad scene. I like that both are somewhat dismissive of the other’s talents, yet by the end they have a bit of an understanding as to the fact that both are important. And Bond’s line about knowing when to NOT pull a trigger is a good one.
Also, as far as dick measuring goes, don’t mess with Bond. He wrote the book on… dick.
Iron Man 3
Iron Man 3 will have a new trailer tomorrow, but for now we can watch 15 seconds from the trailer over and over and over again.
I’ve spent the last seven hours digesting this trailer, and I can honestly say that Iron Man 3 will be a movie.
So there’s not much to go on. Sorry.
The pictures, on the other hand, give us a good view of Ben Kingsley as The Mandarin, as well as more images of the new armor, which is still too gold. Needs more red, darn it. How much do you want to be in The Avengers 2 Joss Whedon write a crack about red needing to be more prominent?
He already swapped out the triangle light thing in the chest for a circle one. Why not mock the poor design choices of Iron Man 3 too?
