Trailers for Lay the Favorite and Django Unchained (with a sweet poster for Django too!), a teaser for the Evil Dead trailer, and a TV spot for The Hobbit.
Lay the Favorite
Lay the Favorite has a new trailer that just serves to remind how much this film is sorta an underachiever. While the film is hitting theaters December 7 (a day that will live in infamy), it’s already supposed to be getting the VOD treatment. It’ll hit theaters first, but it feels like a straight to DVD release, and it has Bruce Willis and Catherine Zeta Jones. Oh well. The trailers not bad.
Django Unchained
Django Unchained has a pretty sweet new international trailer and an even more sweet new poster that I totally want on my wall. I’m getting more and more excited for this film. As cool as Jamie Foxx and Christopher Waltz are coming across as in the film, it’s the evilness of Leonardo DiCaprio that most intrigues me. The best way to get people rooting for the good guy is to make the bad guy so vile they wanna see him die. Well, I wanna see him die. Bravo.
And that poster is a classic already. Sweet merciful crap. It’s awesome.
Evil Dead
Evil Dead is going to have a new trailer tomorrow, but for now there’s this super short preview, which gives just a little bit from the trailer, as well as footage from the New York Comic Con, which had Bruce Campbell seeming to give his endorsement. I guess that’s… good?
The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey
The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey has a new TV Spot that delves a bit deeper in Bilbo Baggins being more of a hermit than a hobbit! GET IT?
Cause the words are sorta similar. Anyways, Bilbo wasn’t necessarily looking for adventure, but it seems he finds it in The Hobbit. Probably. Otherwise this movie is going to be boring as all hell.
