Finally a full trailer for Captain America, a Water for Elephants clip, Beaver poster, and a Mr. Popper’s Penguins trailer.

Captain America

Okay, I should first mention that I’m man enough to admit when I’m wrong. I’ve been saying for a while now that Captain America is going to be terrible. After seeing the first trailer, I can say that I was right. Granted, the trailer gives me more hope than the Super Bowl TV spot, but it still looks like a turd. And the part with Steve Rogers grabbing a trashcan lid like it’s a shield is just stupid. So while I am man enough to admit when I’m wrong, I don’t have to do so today. Booyah.

Water for Elephants

Water for Elephants is coming out on April 15, and while I think there’s potential the film will be decent, the more I see the less excited I am. There’s a new film clip up today, and it looks… fine. I don’t know. Reese Witherspoon doesn’t inspire much in me. Good or bad. Just… blah.

The Beaver

Now HERE’s a film that’s going to rock your balls off. The Beaver will no doubt relaunch the career of Mel Gibson and make everyone forget that he’s had a few bad moments as of late. It isn’t his fault that the world can’t handle his awesome. I’ve been hearing some early reviews, and even people who hate Gibson are saying he’s amazing. I think through all the drinking and crazy people forget that he’s a great actor and has won some Oscars. Anyways, there’s a new poster up for The Beaver, and while it’s an international poster, meaning gibberish instead of the one true language (Cherokee) it still looks good. I do love that the poster apparently makes it seem like the film is entitled Walter instead of The Beaver, but I don’t care. It has Mel. It has a still hot Jodie Foster. Consider my balls rocked. (I’m hoping to get this phrase in the common vernacular of Canada, so as to later use it against them in my lawsuit against the country for Crimes against Humanity and decency).

Mr. Popper’s Penguins

Jim Carrey’s next massive hit, Mr. Popper’s Penguins, has a trailer, and I can’t say for certain what the film is about, but I’m guessing… penguins. I hope there’s a Happy Feet reference.
